Salt River Engagement | Valerie + Steven
The weather was perfect, low 80's with a cool breeze that acted as the perfect wind machine blowing Valerie's gorgeous hair in just the right way. A true blessing since we had to reschedule Val and Steven's engagement session due to 30 mph winds!! My number one goal is that my bride and groom relax and have fun during their engagement session and 30 mph winds were not going to cut it ha I'm so so glad we rescheduled because the Salt River was stunning! It pays to trust your gut and make the right choice for your clients!
We started our session at Coon's Bluff, the trees diffuse the light perfectly and add such beautiful texture, dimension and color to the natural tan of the ground. Val couldn't have picked a more perfect dress, the pattern popped perfectly off the landscape! From Coon's Bluff we headed to Phon d Sutton another popular spot that as aways did not disappoint, the water is really high right now but we were able to find a great spot to sit by the river as the sun started to dip behind the mountains. Everything about this session was just dreamy, it was so fun to capture Val and Steven's love and anticipation at becoming husband and wife. I can't wait for their Villa Siena wedding in December!!
Here are some of my favorites from our time together, I hope you love them as much as I do!
It's as if this Coon's Bluff tree was put there just for us! I love when nature cooperates!
These two should teach a class in walking for the camera, they nailed it every time!
Oh Val you are simply stunning!!
Steven did an AMAZING job picking Val's ring! It was a beautiful beveled band covered in pave diamonds! Swoon!
You can't beat this Phon d Sutton view!
