Phoenix Courthouse Wedding | Jacklyn + Jeremiah
Jacklyn and I met at a mutual friend's house a couple years ago before she and Jeremiah were even engaged. We instantly clicked during an after dinner bike ride and when Jeremiah finally asked her the question she'd been waiting for she called me to take their engagement photos!
This time Jacklyn called me to capture their courthouse wedding or the wedding before the big wedding in Puerto Vallarta. I had never taken pictures at a courthouse wedding so I was super excited to see what it was like! I pictured a docket a la Law and Order, with a crotchety judge calling them forward saying something like "Do you?" and "Do you?" then quickly shouting "NEXT!" I think this was going through all of our heads as we sat in the quiet lobby of the courthouse. All of our visions of a courthouse wedding quickly vanished when we met Judge Macbeth. She welcomed us with a warm smile, congratulating the happy couple and dove in to one of the most beautiful ceremonies I've ever heard. We all left that courthouse with full hearts and big smiles!
After the ceremony we wandered over to a nearby park to take advantage of the beautiful evening golden light. I couldn't be happier for Jacklyn and Jeremiah, they are truly each other's best friend, biggest supporter and truest love. Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Wurzbacher!
Here are some of my favorites from our time together, enjoy!
