Heritage Square | Edie + Curtis
Wedding season is in full swing! It's a challenge to stay on top of blogging but I couldn't imagine making my wonderful clients wait a full 6 weeks to see more of their images! Plus I just love revisiting their big day too:)
Edie and Curtis's wedding day was at the historic Heritage Square, it was the perfect location for them as they both have this classic style about them. They met when Edie was auditioning for a role in a play and so it only makes sense that their wedding venue would look straight out of a set design for a victorian play!
The weather couldn't have been more perfect considering the week before we'd had temps up in the 90's! Both Edie and Curtis were totally calm as they got ready to walk down the aisle, if they were nervous you couldn't tell a bit. In an exciting addition to the day, Edie whispered to me that one of Curtis's groomsmen was planning on proposing to his girlfriend (one of Edie's bridesmaids) at some point during the day! She asked if we could capture the proposal, of course I said yes!!
After the ceremony we orchestrated some "extra" bridal party detail photos taking Emma and Chris aside and using them as our models. Chris took this as his cue to pop the question and my second shooter Lauren got to capture the moment! It was so beautiful and sweet for Edie and Curtis to take the time out of their wedding day to coordinate the engagement of two of their favorite people!
I'm beyond excited to share some of my favorites from Edie and Curtis's wedding day! I hope you love them as much as I do! Cheers to Mr. + Mrs. Watson!
