McCormick Ranch Wedding | Ellen + Zeshan
Ellen, Zeshan and I came together in a very unlikely way. They were referred to me by the manager at the West Elm at Scottsdale Quarter. I know, so random! I had hosted a little pop-up shop there a couple weeks prior and Erin (the manager) and I had really hit it off. I left some of my cards and low and behold a couple weeks later I get a call from Z! We met at Starbucks in the evening which all three of our schedules allowed for and instantly hit it off. Like instantly! We discovered we had similar interests, like the same shows and shared an obsession for all things NPR (National Public Radio, yes I am one of those people). Ellen and Z listen to increase the size of their already brilliant minds and I listen to maintain the little bit of smarts I still have left! We talked about our love of New York City and traveling to different places just to eat. They introduced me to the Serial podcast for which I am forever grateful, if you don't know what it is here is a link go. listen. now. Actually after you read this blog!! Our meeting ended up lasting 2 HOURS and it wasn't until the last 15 minutes that we started talking about their actual wedding ha! Needless to say I was over the moon when they chose me as their wedding photographer, Ellen and Z are some of the sweetest people I've ever met and now after photographing their wedding I truly believe you attract what you put out there.
The three day wedding weekend was filled with so much love for Ellen and Z, friends and family came from across the country and across the world to celebrate their union. It was truly a sight to behold! The two families, although from different corners of the world, were a match made in heaven. Ellen's father did not give away his daughter, nor did Z's mother say goodbye to her son, they gained a new extended family. Two families became one this past weekend and I couldn't be more happy for all of them!
