Sedona Engagement Session | Ellen and Zeshan
They passed each other in the busy halls for four years at their high school, had mutual friends and even worked on the school paper together (Ellen the Boss Lady Editor and Z the special interest writer). But during that entire time they remained distant acquaintances. It wasn't until after Z graduated Arizona State University and Ellen graduated Tufts that their paths crossed and their view of each other came into focus.
Ellen remembers getting her University of Arizona Law School packet and recognizing Z's name as she read the names of the members of her small group. Z remembers seeing Ellen the first day of class and being taken with her immediately.
From that first day of school their relationship became a friendship both knowing they wanted more. There were Bar Reviews (not what you'd think for law students actually lol) and trips to Vegas, sometimes the signals got crossed and both Ellen and Z were left wondering. But on Halloween all that changed, Ellen and Z became official after that night, leaving all their friends saying, "FINALLY!!".
Ellen and Z you two are an inspirational kind of love! I cannot wait to capture your wedding day and know there are only incredible things in store for the both of you!
Here are some images from our time together in Sedona, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Our first stop on our way to Oak Creek Canyon in Sedona was at Midgley Bridge. The bridge is striking and architecturally beautiful!
Sedona's Oak Creek Canyon is such a refreshing departure from the Phoenix heat we were all so excited to dip or feet in the cool water! Ellen and Z balanced perfectly, I on the other hand was a little less graceful lol
Ellen's dress was a gorgeous compliment to the Sedona Red Rocks around us. You can see in Z's gaze how much he adores his future wife it's truly inspiring.
Our last stop was Cathedral Rock and as usual it didn't disappoint, but amongst all this beauty Ellen and Z only had eyes for each other.
Thank you for stopping by!
