FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
01. What does it mean to be a natural light photographer?
In a nutshell, natural light photography ONLY uses the beautiful bright ball in the sky to illuminate images. During portrait and newborn sessions I do not use artificial light (flash). I don't use artificial light during a wedding day except if a getting ready room is very dark and during wedding receptions.
02. WHAT IS YOUR MOST POPULAR WEDDING PACKAGE?
My most popular wedding package is 8 hours of wedding day coverage with 2 photographers. This timeframe gives the bride and groom images from the beginning of their day, the details, getting ready candid moments etc. through their awesome dance party moment's with their closest friends and family! However all my packages are customizable depending on the bride and groom's needs. I love elopements and offer an elopement package as well!
03. DO YOU INCLUDE AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
Yes! I think the engagement session is SO important!! It gives the bride and groom an opportunity to get to know me, how I work and what they can expect on their wedding day. Wedding's are stressful as it is so an engagement session allows the bride and groom to feel comfortable with me on their big day because we've already worked together!
04.DO YOU INCLUDE DIGITAL NEGATIVES?
Yes! I firmly believe that you should be able to have your images un-watermarked to share and print as you like. My clients receive their images via a secure online gallery from which they can download, share and order prints from a fabulous print lab!
05.HOW MANY IMAGES SHOULD I EXPECT TO RECEIVE?
The number of images depends on the session. A wedding receives about 100 edited images for every hour of shooting (8 hour wedding yields approx. 800 edited images). Engagement, family and newborn sessions yield approx. 40-45 edited images.
06.DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO FOR NEWBORN SESSIONS?
I do not have a studio. I bring my mobile studio to my client's home for newborn sessions. I am a natural light photographer so I set up wherever the best light is and go from there!
07. HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL FAMILY SESSION?
My family sessions are typically 45 min. I find that I can capture a family's sincere interaction in that time. However, I never bring a stop watch to my sessions and I never expect the family to keep track of the time. When I know I've gotten all the shots, I end the session!

I've put together a Family Session Information packet that you can access through this link. If it doesn't answer all your questions please feel free to send me an email!

10. What is your turn around time?
Portrait session turnaround is 2 weeks, weddings are 6 weeks.
